There are many aspects to smart communities, but an increasingly important one is efficiency and consistency when it comes to energy usage. More and more homes are relying on integrated battery systems, but these systems are basic in many ways. The 4R Energy "Freedom" system looks to take this technology to the next level, integrating compatibility with electronic cars, personal and renewable energy sources, and with the larger power grid. This system can not only ensure you're using electricity efficiently, but also ensure that you stay powered even during extended outages. For these reasons and more, I'm happy to present the Smart Community award to 4R Energy, for its Freedom system.
