it’s wonderful to be back in Japan. We are delighted to be here once again to view the latest technology trends and experience new products. Thank you for inviting us to CEATEC.
In recent years, we have seen the emergence of the Internet of Things, or IoT, along with a huge increase in the number of connected devices and cloud servers. This is opening a new world of possibilities.
Because of this increase, IoT and networks security is more challenging than ever. But this is also a good opportunity to use new tech, like artificial intelligence, or A.I, to make sure that our systems remain safe. It is clear that AI is something that many companies will be using and promoting in the coming years.
Humans are visual creatures. That is why displays and digital imaging remain core technologies that always need to get better. Virtual reality (VR) has become a new driver for such technologies, and the need for 3D content has never been higher. We are at the beginning of a great virtual reality adventure.
More importantly, CEATEC continues to be the place where we can discover new healthcare technologies that truly make people’s lives better. Technology can also make communities closer, safer and more productive. This passion for improving our daily lives is particularly strong in Japan, and it will continue to lead to more innovations in the future.
