Smart Mobility Innovation
To help promote Society 5.0 or “super smart” society, we plan to carry out an actual driving of autonomous vehicles, as a part of Smart Mobility Innovation Project during CEATEC 2019.
Please take a test ride as a new technology experience of transportation in Chiba City.

How to ride
Distributing numbered tickets on site (Non pre-reservation system)

Numbered tickets will deliver at the Mobility Innovation Booth (booth #: E001, Hall 2)

Traveling course
- Departure and arrival at the south rotary, 1F in front of Hall 9-11, Makuhari Messe
- Test ride course – Law speed run (approx. 18km / h) , approx. 1500m / 15 minutes course around Makuhari New City
Vehicle Information
NAVYA ARMA (France) - Electric shuttle with autonomous driving function.
Driving is carried out by a driver who has received sufficient training while using the automatic driving function, and a safety assistant is on the vehicle as well.
In emergency, switch to manual driving and take safety measures preparing for unexpected situations.
