- How do I pre-register for admission?

All participants are required to register each year for admission to the CEATEC exhibition.
Please register at the pre-registration for admission page in the official CEATEC website. The pre-registration system was changed in 2017 for added convenience so participants who registered prior to that date must renew their registration as previously used e-mail addresses and passwords are no longer applicable. - I have forgotten my password used for the pre-registration page.

Access to the Venue
- How do I access the exhibition venue?

From Tokyo Station, take the JR Keiyo Line and it will take 23 minutes on the Super Express or 28 minutes on the Express to arrive at JR Kaihin-Makuhari Station, the nearest station to Makuhari Messe.
Taking the Highway Bus is also convenient as it stops at Makuhari Messe from various key locations including both Haneda and Narita Airports, Yokohama YCAT, and the Yaesu Exit of Tokyo Station.
We strongly urge participants not to use personal transportation such as automobiles as the vicinity surrounding the exhibition venue is expected to be very crowded.
About Admission
- What are the hours of operation for CEATEC 2019?
- The venue will be open from 10:00AM to 5:00PM between October 15th (Tue.) and 18th (Fri), 2019.
- What are the hours of operation for the registration counter?
- The registration counter will open at 9:30AM and visitors can begin entering the venue from 10:00AM. CEATEC 2019 closes at 5:00PM but visitors will be allowed to enter the venue up until 4:50PM. We do, however, recommend that visitors arrive earlier to ensure sufficient time to enjoy the exhibition halls.
- Is possible to re-enter the venue if I leave it?
- If you possess an admission pass, you can leave and return to the exhibition halls freely.

- The email for my membership registration and/or admission pass has yet to arrive.
- The following details may be the reasons why you have not received the email for membership registration and/or admission pass.
- Certain types of email may go straight to the SPAM folder due to the settings provided by your provider.
- The email address provided may have been incorrect.
- Your Inbox is full.
- The domain specific reception setting may be set on your smartphone, PC, etc. to prevent spam email. Reset your devices to receive email from the @reg.jesa.or.jp domain.
- I registered previously but have forgotten my password for the pre-registration for admission page.
- Please reset your password at the pre-registration for admission page.

- It is possible to register for admission at the registration counter by using one of the devices available there. However, the registration counter is expected to be crowded daily so we strongly recommend that all visitors register in advance at the official CEATEC website.
Pre-registration for admission is also possible from your smartphone. - Is it possible to register more than one person under the same name and/or e-mail address?
- All participants are required to register in advance, and multiple entries with the same name and/or e-mail address cannot be registered.
Please register participants separately with different names and e-mail addresses. - I wish to change the information I registered.
- Login to the pre-registration for admission page and select Profile Settings from the settings tab in MyPage. You will then be able to change your registered information on this page.
- I need another admission pass. How do I obtain additional passes?
- You can download additional admission passes by going to the pre-registration for admission page and clicking on Event Admission Pass within the Profile tab.
- Do I need to print the admission pass and bring it to the exhibition venue?
- Yes, please print the admission pass in advance and insert it into the holder that will be provided to you on the day of the event. It is also possible to print your admission ticket at the reception counter but as it is expected to be very busy, we strongly recommend that all passes be printed out in advance before arriving at the venue.
- I cannot pre-register for admission from my PC.
- The reason could be that you are not using the recommended browsing environment. Please try one of the following web browsers for optimum results:
- The latest version of Google Chrome.
- The latest version of Firefox.
- The latest version of Microsoft Edge.
- We want to request a group tour.
- Unfortunately, CEATEC is not conducting group tours for businesses this year. We ask that all participants planning to visit the exhibition register individually.
Available Facilities and Services at the Exhibition Venue
- Are lockers and/or cloak service available?
- Coin lockers located in the venue are available for use.
- Are there any smoking areas?
- Smoking is not permitted in the exhibition halls, seminar and conference rooms, and all other venues in the exhibition venue. There will, however, be smoking areas available outside of the exhibition halls.
- Where can I go or who do I contact if I have any questions or inquiries while I am at the exhibition venue?
- An Information Counter has been setup in the venue to address any questions or inquiries you may have.
- Is it possible to make public announcements?
- As a general rule, public announcements will not be made at the venue. If you are seeking someone or have a lost child, please contact the Information Center for assistance.
About Exhibition Booths
- What is the best way to send materials such as catalogs, publications, etc., collected at the exhibition?
- If parcels are being sent to addresses in Japan then using Yamato Express (Takkyubin) is an excellent choice. A Yamato Express reception counter will be setup at the venue; please refer to the venue map for its location.
- Is it permissible to take photos or record videos of the exhibits at the venue?
- Generally speaking, there are no restrictions governing photography in the exhibition venue. However, please consult with specific exhibitors as photography of certain products, technologies, etc. may not be allowed.
- Is it possible to purchase products exhibited at the venue?
- No. We ask for your understanding that direct sales of products at the venue is not offered.
About Conferences
- How do I reserve seating for conferences?
- Access the pre-registration for admission page to reserve seating for conferences. Seating is limited for each conference and session so please note that reservations cannot be made when capacity is reached.
- The session I wish to attend is already full.
- There may still be room for walk-ins on the day of the session so please come directly to the conference venue.
You may then be able to attend the session after participants with reservations are seated first.
Miscellaneous
- Are reference materials available about the CEATEC exhibition?
- The CEATEC 2019 Exhibition Guide and Exhibition Report from last year can be downloaded from the brochures page in the official website. If you wish to receive a printed version of the brochures, please fill in the Brochures Request Form and submit it to the CEATEC Management Office. Please note, however, that both the printed and online versions are identical.
- We are planning to participate as an exhibitor in next year’s event and wish to contact one of your representatives.
- After CEATEC 2019 has concluded, please contact the CEATEC Management Office and consult with one of our representatives.
