History of CEATEC JAPAN from the beginning

CEATEC JAPAN started in 2000: In 2000, CEATEC JAPAN was established through the integration of two exhibitions: The "Japan Electronics Show" and "COM JAPAN".

COMMUNICATIONS TOKYO (1972-1996): SPONSORSHIP: Communications Industry Association of Japan (CIAJ) *2
JPSA CONVENTION (1994-1996): SPONSORSHIP: Japan Personal Computer Software Association (JPSA); *1 The Electronic Industries Association of Japan (EIAJ) and the Japan Electronic Industry Development Association (JEIDA) merged in November, 2000, to form the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA); *2 The Communication Industry Association of Japan (CIAJ) was renamed the Communication and Information network Association of Japan (CIAJ) in 2003.
