The Institute of Electronics,
Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE)

IEICE (The Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers) hosts a Special Symposium, IEICE Tokyo Section Symposium and technical Workshops in the CEATEC JAPAN 2013, inviting distinguished speakers and panelists from the industry and government societies of Japan. In the Special Symposium, they will discuss their views and strategies on "Future vision and technology to realize the smart mobility to open up the future" from their individual standpoint under the circumstances that the mobility society is making great progress with advanced communication services in recent years. In the IEICE Tokyo section will have a symposium about "Latest technology trend of network virtualization technology using SDN and NFV". In this session, technical issues of SDN and NFV platform design and their solutions are discussed from ICT point of view, and then how carriers and vendors will have a global competence in commercialization of these technologies are further discussed to pursue the next generation infrastructure.
Also the IEICE Workshops aim to give opportunities of presentation and discussion on various technical backgrounds covering electronics, information and communications.

IEICE Special Symposium

IEICE (The Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers) hosts you a Special Session in the CEATEC JAPAN 2013, inviting distinguished speakers and panelists from the industry and government societies of Japan. In recent years, as the spread of smartphones and broadband communication, mobility of advanced communications services has improved markedly. On the other hand, the car is a medium of mobility largest, and the car has seen remarkable changes in the improvement of comfort and performance and safety features by the ICT and environmental performance by EV or hybrid system. Toward the realization of smart mobility safe and efficient and comfortable, the speakers and panelists will discuss about the future cars and future ICT suitable to the advancement of society and industry in the future from the perspective of each industry and government societies.
