I will sort out the present condition of electronic publishing and digital books and the issues toward their spread, and introduce the future view.
Moreover, from my standpoint as a specialist, I will present the necessity of standardization by considering its trend in this field and various influences exerted on companies by it.

Trends on standardization and current status of interface between in-vehicle-devices and carried-in-devices (mobile evices)

Mobile devices such as smartphones are penetrating into vehicles for various reasons. Regarding safety, security and amenity, in-car-devices (such as audio, display, and navigation system) should be integrated with carried-in-devices. At this moment, each car OEM adopts each in-house protocols to connect with such devices, but those should be standardized to meet user satisfaction and developer satisfaction. In this session, the current trend of each car OEM’s protocol and strategy, the movements of standardization and a future landscape will be discussed, and how domestic manufacturers could leverage such trends will be proposed.
