ICT provides a basis for a whole range of social and economic activities and is an important tool for economic growth and solution of social problems. ICT is expected to play a vital role in revitalizing Japan’s economy, as is evident by the fact that many elements of　ICT Growth Strategy are included in the Growth Strategy (Japan Reconstruction Strategy) approved recently by the Cabinet.
This speech focuses on the trends in ICT policy and major ICT activities which the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications will take to ensure ICT-based economic growth and contribution to global society. (Tentative)

The revised scope is: "To prepare international standards and other publications concerning electrical equipment, electrical systems and software used in healthcare and their effects on patients, operators, other persons and the environment". In this presentation current related discussion will be reported and related challenges will be discussed.
