We have developed various nondestructive subsurface imaging methods for electric devices, electric cell, concrete building or human body. The basic concept is that sources of electromagnetic field or scattering objects inside measurement targets are visualized using reconstruction theories with mathematics of integral geometry. In the reconstructing procedures, measurement data at the surface of the targets are used as boundary conditions. This technique is capable of imaging internal structures inside materials with a super-resolution below the size of electromagnetic field detectors. In the conference, we show novel subsurface imaging techniques which are commercialized by Integral Geometry Instrument, LLC.

Focus 001 visualize current density distributions inside electric devices by solving a basic equation of electromagnetic field and reconstructing electromagnetic field inside devices using a couple of measurement data at the surfaces as boundary conditions of the equation. Using two boundary conditions realizes a precise reconstruction even if there are various electromagnetic field sources such as electric circuits or mechanical parts which generates stray fields.
April 2, 2012, Integral Geometry instruments was established by researchers who have experiences of developing cutting-edge measurement devices and software of image data processing.
