Since 1976, National Instruments has equipped engineers and scientists with tools that accelerate productivity, innovation, and discovery. NI's graphical system design approach provides an integrated software and hardware platform that simplifies development of any system that needs measurement and control.
To keep up with today's consumer electronics needs, design and test engineers need flexible, high-performance test systems. National Instruments offers a software-based measurement strategy, using modular instruments that make it easy to quickly adapt to the latest audio, video, and wireless requirements. The result is an integrated test platform that can keep pace with new innovations.

LabVIEW System Design Software
LabVIEW software is ideal for any measurement or control system, and the heart of the NI design platform. Integrating all the tools that engineers and scientists need to build a wide range of applications in dramatically less time, LabVIEW is a development environment for problem solving, accelerated productivity, and continual innovation.

NI PXI(Modular Instruments)
"Industry Leading, PC-Based Platform for Test, Measurement, and Control" - National Instruments is the creator and leading provider of PXI, the modular instrumentation standard with more than 1,500 products from more than 70 vendors.
PXI is a rugged PC-based platform for measurement and automation systems. PXI combines PCI electrical-bus features with the modular, Eurocard packaging of CompactPCI and then adds specialized synchronization buses and key software features. PXI is both a high-performance and low-cost deployment platform for applications such as manufacturing test, military and aerospace, machine monitoring, automotive, and industrial test.
Developed in 1997 and launched in 1998, PXI is an open industry standard governed by the PXI Systems Alliance (PXISA), a group of more than 70 companies chartered to promote the PXI standard, ensure interoperability, and maintain the PXI specification.

Data Acquisition (DAQ)
With more than 30 years of experience and 50 million I/O channels sold, National Instruments DAQ is the most trusted computer-based measurement hardware available. Innovative DAQ hardware and NI-DAQmx driver technologies give you better accuracy and maximized performance. Regardless of your application, whether for basic measurements or complex systems, NI has the right tools for the job.
For more than 20 years, National Instruments PC-based data acquisition (DAQ) devices have set the standard for accuracy and performance. Measurement accuracy is arguably one of the most important considerations in designing any data acquisition application. Yet equally important is the overall performance of the system, including I/O sampling rates, throughput, and latency. For most engineers and scientists, sacrificing accuracy for throughput performance or sampling rate for resolution is not an option. Through years of experience, NI has developed several key technologies to maximize the absolute accuracy of your measurements while delivering industry-leading performance in PC-based data acquisition from PCI to PXI and USB to wireless.
