Connecting components (connectors, switches, relays)

0.4mm Pitch Board to Board Connector with Width of 1.9mm and Stack. H of 0.6mm

The 5806 Series are Board to Board Connectors with a fine pitch of 0.4mm and an ultra low stacking height of 0.6mm. These products feature the width of 1.9mm on the short side, which contributes to downsizing in small electronic equipment. An original locking structure generates a firm "click" sound and enhances the retention force despite the slim and low profile, and peeling strength against printed circuit boards is strengthened by equipping metal tabs. In addition, a "double-sided contact structure" has been adopted to enhance resistance to vibrations and drop shocks, thus ensuring high contact reliability.

(1) Space-saving connector with a stacking height of 0.6mm and width of 1.9mm, which contributes to downsizing in small electronic equipment.
(2) An original locking structure is adopted for mating, which generates a firm "click" sound and enhances the retention force when connectors are removed despite the ultra low profile.
(3) Peeling strength against printed circuit boards is strengthened by equipping metal tabs.
(4) A "double-sided contact structure" is adopted to enhance resistance to vibrations and drop shocks. In addition, the plug connector features a structure which removes foreign matter with focused stress (wiping effect), thus realizing high contact reliability.

0.5mm Pitch FPC/FFC Connector for High-Speed Transmission

The 6806 Series are FPC/FFC connectors for high-speed transmission featuring a pitch of 0.5mm and height of 1.75mm. A convex-shaped actuator shape facilitates opening/closing operations, and a "click" feeling assures locking when the FPC/FFC is mated. The contact point is designed widely in order to obtain high contact reliability with FPC/FFC conductors. In addition to FPCs, these connectors can also be used for impedance-adjustable FFCs. By improving high-frequency characteristics with impedance matching, the connectors allow high-speed transmission which corresponds to next-generation interfaces -V-by-One(R)HS and CalDriCon(R)- adopted in LCD televisions.

(1) Despite its low profile height of 1.75mm on the PCB, opening/closing operations are easy due to the convex-shaped actuator.
(2) Provides a secure "click" feeling when locking/unlocking the actuator.
(3) Meets the maximum speed specified in next-generation interfaces -V-by-One(R)HS and CalDriCon(R)- adopted in LCD televisions.
(4) Misalignment of the contact position is prevented by combining the connector to a FPC/FFC with tabs, thus strengthening resistance to tensile force and achieving secure connection. Workability is improved because the FPC/FFC is held (tentatively) before full insertion.

V-by-One(R) and CalDriCon is a registered trademark of THine Electronics, Inc.

PCI Express(R) M.2 Connector

The 6411 Series are connectors compatible with the PCI-SIG, PCI Express(R) M.2 specifications. Conventionally, different modules and connectors have been required to enhance each function of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth(R), SSD, Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), Near Field Communication (NFC), WiGig and WWAN (2G, 3G and 4G). The PCI Express(R) M.2 specification supports multiple modules utilizing the same slot designed for each key. It corresponds to high-speed transmission such as PCIe (Gen.3), USB3.0, SATA3.0 and contributes to thinner and lighter notebook PCs and mobile PCs such as Ultrabook(TM) and tablet PCs. The 6411 Series are available in various heights and with different keying options for module cards.

(1) Various heights are available in both single and double-sided modules. Furthermore, midplane types featuring very low profiles are available, achieved by cutting into the printed circuit boards.
(2) Various keying options for module cards are available: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K, L and M.
(3) Working efficiency is improved by allowing angled insertion and removal from 0 to 15 degrees relative to the printed circuit board.

Ultrabook is a trademark or registered trademark of Intel Corporation.
Wi-Fi is a trademark or registered trademark of Wi-Fi Alliance.
Bluetooth is a trademark or registered trademark of Bluetooth SIG, Inc.
