Vehicle to Socket
Nichicon Corporation has expanded its lineup of EV chargers with the development and release of the "Vehicle to Socket" model of the EV Power Station, the world's first* double-speed EV charger with a waterproof socket that allows power to be supplied from an EV.

"Home Power Station" as household energy storage system
"Home Power Station" as household energy storage system, users can charge the battery late at night when electricity rates are lower, and then use this electricity during peak use daytime hours to save on their electricity bills. They can also achieve greater energy self-sufficiency by storing up surplus electricity in the daytime using solar power and then using this electricity at night. And in the case of a power outage, the system's high-capacity storage can provide backup power to a home.

CP Series: Long-Lasting, High-Voltage, Small Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors
Demand for smaller, higher-capacity aluminum electrolytic capacitors are increasing as digital equipment and AC adaptors become smaller. There has been particularly high demand for compact, high-capacity aluminum electrolytic 400-450V class capacitors used in primary power sources. With circuit board space at a premium, engineers must constantly find new ways to shrink their components while still maintaining their overall performance. In light of these changes, Nichicon has developed the long lasting, high reliability, high voltage CP series.
The CP series was developed by utilizing over half a century of technological advancements, such as high-capacity, high-strength aluminum electrode foil development, optimized element design, and winding technology. This resulted in a product that is among the world's smallest, yet has the highest-capacitance in its class- (40% smaller, with a maximum of 76% greater capacitance, than the current CS Series). These aluminum electrolytic capacitors are optimized for digital equipment, AC adaptors, and other power conversion applications in which space is a premium.
