New Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC) has just started as of April 2017, per integration of legacy Mitsubishi Chemical, Mitsubishi Rayon and Mitsubishi Plastics. In April 2010, MCC’s epoxy resins business has originally launched by merger of Japan Epoxy Resins Co., Ltd. (jER), the first epoxy resins manufacturer in Japan. Now it is positioned as one of the key business units in new MCC.

In this expo, Mitsubishi Chemical introduces its developing special functionality films made from novel epoxy resins – clear transparent type and flexible type. Transparent type can maintain clear transparency without yellowing over the time. Flexible type is bendable and also enough elastic and stretchable even after curing. Those epoxy films have excellent heat resistivity, electrical insulation, and adhesion to conductive metal/organic inks.
