Safety Measures in the show venue

To ensure the safety of visitors to the exhibition, the safety of exhibitors and related staff, and the smooth proceeding of business discussions, CEATEC JAPAN Management Office has enhanced its operation safety policy and regulations, and will respond to disasters in accordance with its basic principle of "prioritizing the safety of visitors and exhibitors".

  • In the event of a disaster, the Management Office will endeavor to ensure everyone's safety. To achieve this, we will promptly gather information concerning the disaster and provide that information to visitors, exhibitors and concerned parties, and give evacuation instructions. We will also endeavor to conduct initial fire-fighting and rescue activities such as tending to the injured, and coordinate with relevant organizations such as the fire and police services.
  • The sponsors and exhibitors will work together to provide an environment where visitors can tour the exhibition with peace of mind, by designing booths to be resistant to collapse and electrical leakage in the event of a disaster such as an earthquake or fire, and maintain aisle width suitable for evacuation routes.
  • In the event of a disaster, the Management Office will promptly provide information to everyone via the P.A. system or other means, and encourage everyone to act calmly in spite of the circumstances.
