"RH Motion Innovation is Just Around the Corner --- Edit and Control the Motion, not the Trajectory"

Real Haptics (RH) technology is about to introduce a huge innovation in motion control. A “motion” is not a trajectory. Humans can manage position/velocity and force to create a motion which robots cannot do well. RH technology can re-install a “motion” to the robots. The motion can be easily edited by using cyber space. The motion edition includes visualization, multiplication, by recording/processing/reconstructing it. Our works is not a dream of the academia. Core technology is already developed into small module. Applications are under collaborative research with a number of leading companies. Commercialization of the technology is just a few steps away. Please visit our booth to witness an accomplishment of RH technology. Touching is worth a hundred pictures/words.

"Abstraction of Road Surface Information using Real-Haptics"

In the exhibition, we will demonstrate how Real-haptics re-install haptics to machines. We display master-slave system of steering-handle of automobile, the road surface haptics for you to experience the haptic sense transferred back from the road. The steering and handle are mechanically connected several decades ago. Back then; we could know the road surface information because it is directly returned by mechanism. By the revolution of the automobile technology, haptics was wiped out. We will make automobiles to remember the haptics for safe driving systems.

"Haptics transplantation by haptic prosthetic hand"

In our exhibition, we would like you to experience how important the haptics is in our daily life. We will focus on everyday motion “holding the object by hand”, which all of us do hundreds of times in a day. We will demonstrate the haptic prosthetic hand in our booth. Please take it to your hand and try a motion “hold an object and carry it”. In the world with haptic, the task is not difficult to do. However in the world without haptics, the same task becomes very difficult.

"Demonstration of motion edit by GP (General Purpose) Arm"

In our area, we will demonstrate the innovation of motion control by real-haptics technology. The motion can now be edited and manipulated. Recording, editing, and replaying of motion by real-haptics technology supports the innovation. Recording and editing of the human motion is displayed by a movie. The motion is replayed by using GP-Arm in the exhibition. The replayed human motion has high adaptability and performs the same task to different objects in a natural manner.
