Regular dust and grime accumulation reduces the solar cells efficiency by about 10% for an exposure time of 16 weeks. Depending upon the environmental conditions, these losses can jump up to an even higher number. Currently, the solution to the problem employs manual cleaning cycles on a monthly basis. This solution is not feasible as it is labor intensive and unnecessarily consumes gallons of water per panel.
We have designed an automated machine (robot) to facilitate the solar panel cleaning process. Our product called Zero (patented) reduces the water consumption by 80%.
Zero fixed is a remotely operable automated machine designed for large utility-scale plants.
Zero Portable is designed for small to medium-sized solar plants, a two-person team can carry it with ease and clean multiple rows. The process is 5x faster than the conventional process.
Zero Steer is a fully autonomous, remotely operable machine built for solar installations on commercial and industrial sheds. It is designed to travel from one row to another without any assistance.
