Polar Star Space Co., Ltd. is a venture company started by Hokkaido University with the technology of Hokkaido University, Tohoku University and Shiga University of Medical Science. We will provide data-driven problem-solving services in the fields of agriculture, fishery, resources and energy, disaster prevention, etc.
At the present time, Agricultural problems related to population explosions and global environmental problems, and aims to provide value in the agricultural field where scientific control over harvesting is required.
Specifically, we will detect lesions based on spectrum measurements of soil and crops using our proprietary smartphone spectrograph and drone-equipped spectrum camera, and support optimization of fertilization and pesticide use.
