"Real haptics linking cyber and physical"

At the manufacturing and agricultural sites that rely on human manual work, we are facing important issues such as the aging of skilled workers, the lack of successors, and the shortage of human resources at medical and nursing care sites. So far, the industry has installed diagnostic imaging and robot technology, but it has been considered difficult to replace human flexible and adaptable work with current robots that have no human senses. Using real haptics technology, we succeeded in automating manual operations in the field by remote operation, automation of work, and virtualization by connecting the tactile sensation that is one of the five human senses to the cyber world. At this exhibition, please experience the new stage of real haptics that connects the cyber world and the real physical world.
