Exhibitor Information

Since the wireless communication becomes standard, the wireless is also desired for the power transmission.
"Optical wireless power transmission" (OWPT) is expected to be applicable to various equipment and operating conditions.

The light beam emitted from the light source is converted into electric power by a solar cell on the equipment.
The light sources of semiconductor laser and LED, and solar cells are operated under simple DC condition.

In this exhibition, the research of Miyamoto Laboratory of Tokyo Institute of Technology which is leading this OWPT technology will be shown.
a) >10 W-class OWPT systems for fixed equipment
b) OWPT system for IoT devices using LEDs
c) In addition, OWPT to various positions in the room, appearance improvement of solar cells for OWPT, OWPT to drones, underwater OWPT, and OWPT to rotating mechanism.
*The OWPT demonstration will be exhibited under conditions different from those of the research in consideration of safety.
