We, SUMTEC,Inc. were founded in 2004 based on half a century of research and development on rigorous numerical-analytical dielectric and conductivity measurement methods in microwave and millimeter-wave region. Some examples are the "Balanced-type circular disk resonator method" (a.k.a. BCDR) and the "Dielectric resonator method", which was virtually invented and realised or improved in 1970s by Prof. em. Dr. Kobayashi of Saitama University, Japan.
Outcomes of these efforts are our IEC standard compliant microwave and millimeter-wave dielectric measurement systems and dedicated application software products, which are offering nearly accurate measurement data to clients of industrial researchers and academic scientists handling advanced PWB/PCB dielectric materials targeted to 5G and data centre infrastructures or automotive radars applications. Also, we are providing a VDI based public cloud service - SUMCLOUD-RFCALC, which rents application software products via virtual desktops.
