Origin Wireless Japan, Inc. ​aims to deliver “smart radios for smart life” with our spatial cognition engine, the “Time Reversal Machine” (TRM) which utilizes radio wave multipaths as virtual sensors, and provide sensor-free IoT platform.
Dr. Ray Liu at University of Maryland, who chaired the IEEE Signal processing society, invented this TRM technology, which detects the multi-paths of radio waves including WiFi radio waves. This technology enables us to percept the space only with WiFi communication and requires no installation of specific sensors. This technology achieves indoor localization of 1 to 2 cm level accuracy.
In this exhibition, visitors can experience the innovative spatial cognition IoT of the TRM engines. The experience of wearable-free and sensor-free spatial cognition will change the perception of practical IoT systems.
