Chubu University expanded in 1984 when the College of Business Administration and Information Science and the College of International Studies were added to the original College of Engineering. Further expansion occurred in 1998 with the establishment of the College of Humanities. The College of Bioscience and Biotechnology, which opened its doors in 2001, the College of Life and Health Sciences, which started in 2006, and the College of Contemporary Education, which established in 2008, further reinforce Chubu University's metamorphosis into a truly comprehensive university
Development of HEMS Test Site to Realize AI Robot with Emotions.
We would like to construct a human-like (emotional) AI using the HEMS, For this purpose, an acquire and general human data as possible in the same living environment without the specific purpose. And it is necessary to learn different judgments and actions carefully in individuals. However, it will be huge information / learning volume. Therefore, we set a goal for ambiguous energy saving system(EMS) and constructed the HEMS demonstration system (V.1) to interact with people. It is only a making measurement tools and the completeness of the algorithm is low.. But we will propose design guidelines.
Proposal of Indoor Ubiquitous System using Electric Field Coupling WPT
Charger for small electronic devices was designed and developed by taking advantage of the thin metal elements on our proposed electric field coupling WPT. it is intended to form a dipole with the use of strap as one pole. It is also realized that the relative positions of dipoles are fixed and narrow transmission distance.. To identify the individuals in a combination of this mobile phone charger and face recognition, etc.. we have proposed a "human feelings can be seen HEMS (Home Energy Management System)" to perform the energy saving. The indoor portion was prototype development as a demonstration system, it has been operating on campus.
