Date City is located in the Northern part of Fukushima Prefecture.
National road 4, and the JR North main line run through the western portion of the city. In the southern section, national road 115 runs from east to west. National road 349 and national road 399 run through the heart of the city. In addition, the Abukuma Express runs through the central part of the city. It is incredibly convenient.
Aiming to open in 2020, the Tohoku central highway is being constructed. Equipped with 4 interchange locations, convenience will be improved.
