As a Radio Frequency (RF) measurement application software house which Prof. Em. Kobayashi found at Saitama University in 2004, we have developed several software products complying with IEC Standard rigorous analytic calculation methods and algorithm dedicated to measuring and evaluating characteristics of relative permittivity (εr, dk), loss tangent (tanδ, df), relative conductivity (σr), surface resistance (Ω, Rs) of very low-loss dielectric and conductive materials which are implemented into Printed Wiring Boards (PWB) or Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) of higher data transfer bitrate use and high-frequency RF devices. Since starting business, our customers who are in favour of assured accuracy of measurement data evaluated easily with our IEC standard compliant products are located around Japan, Austria, Germany etc. Also, we are providing a public Desktop as a Service (DaaS) cloud service which rents our software products with high performance computing resources of our data centre.
Dielectric Materials Numerical Analysis Cloud Service【SUMCLOUD-RFCALC】
"SUMCLOUD-RFCALC" provides a series of IEC Standard compliant measurement parameters and procedures, evaluation of uncertainties and reports of measurement results for very low-loss dielectric and conductive materials based on rigorous electronic and magnetic numerical analysis. Customers log into Windows-based Virtual Desktop Machines which are authenticated to access and use our software products which are installed onto each Virtual Desktop Machine at our data centre. By utilising the multi-tenant Desktop as a Service (DaaS) cloud service which provides flexible high performance computing resources based on load balancing technologies of high-end servers, customers can read out and save more accurate measurement data of changing dielectric characteristics dependent on frequencies and temperature and compare with unreliable non-standard data which have been referred to in the past.
Specific Features
1. IEC Standard compliant data accuracy of dielectric constants
εr (<±0.01 error range)
: Based on a method to refer to the resonant mode chart which determines the measurement target frequency of the resonant peak, evaluate an error range less than or equal to ±0.001 by taking several measurements and compare with standard reference data of standard reference materials
2. IEC Standard compliant data accuracy of loss tangents
tanδ (<±0.0001 error range)
: Based on the same method as described in Section 1 above
3. Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) compliant
4. Windows 7 / Windows 10 Virtual Desktop Machines
5. Charged based on monthly rental fees
Bandpass Filters Computer Aided Design Cloud Service【SUM-FILTER】
"SUM-FILTER" is an application software which aids the efficient work of electromagnetic simulation for designing bandpass filters. The product would be significantly beneficial to circuit designers of microwave filters or educators of university or college level courses in Microwave and RF Engineering. Firstly, customers log into Windows-based Virtual Desktop Machines which are authenticated to access. Secondly, customers calculate the coupling coefficient, kij and the external quality factor, Qe based on arbitrary manually input parameters of design target bandpass filters - Number of elements, N and Center Frequency (GHz), f0 and Ripple (㏈), RW and Minimum Stopband (㏈), SBmin and Bandwidth (% or MHz), BW. As a result, customers are able to get amplitude and frequency responses of arbitrary types of design target bandpass filters with ease on the screen finally. Especially, "SUM-FILTER" achieves a simple and quick task of simulating elliptic function filters for customers in contrast to long learning curve and complexity of designing elliptic function filters with the use of general purpose electromagnetic simulators.
Specific Features
1. Simple calculation and plotting an amplitude and frequency response of an arbitrary maximally flat filter
2. Simple calculation and plotting an amplitude and frequency response of an arbitrary Chebyshev filter
3. Simple calculation and plotting an amplitude and frequency response of an arbitrary elliptic function filter
4. Windows 7 Virtual Desktop Machines
5. Charged based on monthly rental fees
