Company Introduction

Zenatix is an IoT driven energy efficiency company. Co-founded by alumni from IIT Delhi, IIM Ahmedabad and UCLA, Zenatix reduces power wastages for commercial customers by 10-15% without requiring any upfront investment and equipment retrofits.
One of the biggest challenges faced by retailers/banks is driving governance on operating the electrical equipment (e.g., air-conditioning, lighting) across their fragmented set ups (large number of outlets/branches/ATMs spread across a geography). For example, it is almost impossible for them to ensure that their employees turn on/off the air-conditioning at set times, maintain the defined set temperature within a store, switch/on the signage outside at set times etc. WattMan ensures this governance for them in carried out in an automated manner, with all accessibility/configurability over the Internet.

Given the distributed nature of retail/banking set-ups (100s of thousands of outlets/branches, spread across the country), having a control over the electricity spend and providing the right customer experience at the same time is a big challenge. For example, in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), ensuring optimum operation of electrical equipment and maintaining right temperature in cold storages is crucial. WattMan, built over a scalable IoT stack and robust hardware developed in-house, addresses these challenges in an automated manner through its cloud based intelligent controls driven by advanced machine learning algorithms. It employs our proprietary firmware for performing automatic sensing and control. Collected data is used to develop machine learning driven models deciding optimal operational settings based on external factors like weather and footfall, thus allowing sophisticated control.

How it works?

WattMan Lite

WattMan Lite helps customers reduce their electricity consumption due to air-conditioners by 10-20-%.

Due to distributed AC infrastructure, it becomes a challenge to manage and operate 100s of ACs in the most optimal way across locations. ACs are often found operational beyond working hours, largely because it gets difficult for the ground staff or the admin team to track and manage all of these ACs each with their local on/off control.

WattMan Lite brings control of all these standalone ACs to a single location over the Internet. The product goes as an “add-on” to your existing AC without any intrusion into the AC, communicating with the AC in the same way as its remote communicates (therefore no concerns on warranty being void).
