“DigitalAgri” for efficient rice production in large scale paddy field
Efforts to acquire and utilize information on the production site as “digital data” are actively carried out at the agricultural site of Japan where “low productivity” has been regarded as a problem until now. Among them, the service which makes drone / UAV sense from the sky and combine with various data holds great potential. This project which Space Entertainment Laboratory is doing in Fukushima and Minami Soma City, improves productivity of rice crop by linking vegetation index (NDVI) sensed by multispectral camera mounted on drone and various ground data. We are aiming to provide data that will become “decision materials” for agricultural producers to efficiently conduct agricultural work and make appropriate management decisions.
Project DEN (IoT for agriculture)
Project DEN is a project aimed at connecting the sensor device installed in the paddy field to the Internet and acquiring and utilizing the data of the paddy remotely. You can send environmental data such as water level, water temperature, field temperature, sunshine time of paddy field in real time on the cloud, and monitor from a remote place via PC and mobile device. It is possible to drastically reduce the time and effort required to move between paddy fields in patrolling, etc. By utilizing other local data, it is possible to predict the harvest time and provide risk information on pest or insect damage. We realize labor-saving and efficiency of agricultural work and promote large-scale farmers.
