An instrumentation of pesticide residue analysis was developed by Miyazaki Agricultural Research Institute in cooperation with makers and universities using patented technology.
Based on residual pesticide analysis technology capable of simultaneous analysis of 500 components in 50 minutes, General Incorporated Association Food Research Organization (Miyazaki city) was founded in 2015. FRO is working on residual pesticide business and pre-export inspection of agricultural products.
We operate to produce a daily map of sea surface oceanic conditions in Hyuga-Nada using temperature and current data measured by fishing boats and Japan Meteorological Agency product. The map has been distributed since January 2013. The total yearly economic benefit on the fishers of medium-scale round-haul net fishery of JF Kitaura in Miyazaki Prefecture was approximately about 200 million yen. The breakdown of this benefit included increased catch quantity for increased fishery opportunities due to fishing ground inference, reduced fuel consumption for halting fishing operations to escape from strong current.
We have developed the advanced mapping of oceanic condition map since 2015. the pillar of this research are the abundance of surface velocity by HF ocean radar and oceanic data under sea surface observed by fishers. Our goal will deliver the advanced mapping of oceanic conditions by using these new data.
Integrated type facilities gardening production support system
We are trying to establish the Miyazaki version “Integrated type facilities gardening production support system ” combining high-yield cultivation technology, cost reduction technology and advanced production management system such as cultivation management history and growth data with the combined environmental control system as the core.
This technology aims to spread to the community as a model of large-scale integration linked with JA’s skill training system, along with construction of a highly productive cultivation management system utilizing advanced ICT technology.
