Network technologies
We introduce new Content Delivery Network (CDN) platform for large-volume data such as 4K/8K videos and Virtual Reality (VR) contents. Our product forms a distributed cooperative cache infrastructure that utilizes achievements of a joint research with Yoshinaga laboratory of The University of Electro-Communications. The introduced product realize an efficient CDN platform by using following patent-pending technologies.
1. A cooperative caching technology that forms a large storage by integrating cache nodes
2. An efficient cache management scheme that calculates sub-optimal content locations according to current content popularities and the network topology
3. A chunk-based cache algorithm that prefers popular segment of large content data
We will demonstrate the new CDN platform with prototype servers at our booth. We also present the patent-pending technologies in the seminar from 11:00 am, Oct. 4.
