Kudo3D, based in Pleasanton, California, manufactures professional desktop 3D printers.
In year 2012, Kudo3D founder Tedd Syao start building the Titan 1 and developed the passive self-peeling technology in his garage.
Kudo3D launched its Kickstarter in May 2014 and was funded within 2 minutes. The company has now grown to two locations: Pleasanton, California, and Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan.
The first generation, Titan 1 and the Titan 2 3D printers use a patent-pending passive self-peeling technology, making them the leading professional high-resolution stereolithography printers.
The Titan 2, which was launched in June 2016, is Wi-Fi enabled and can be controlled via the web-based Kudo3D controlling software.
Titan 2
The Titan 2 3D printer has stayed true to its original Titan 1 base – a patent pending passive self-peeling (PSP) technology, enabling the printer to print at 37μm XY resolution and Z later thickness at 5μm.
Apart from the technical aspect, we have always been trying to improve the user-friendliness of our printers. Titan 2 is Wi-Fi enabled with built-in Raspberry Pi, so it does not need to connect the printer to the computer and it will be independent from the user’s computer. Only one power cord is required to run the Titan 2.
The Titan 2 is fully assembled and pre-calibrated at 50μm.
