Human Science Co., Ltd. carries out document preparation and consulting pertaining to document management and handling for domestic and foreign companies in Japan.

When it comes to document management and handling as well, creating arrangements for providing information worldwide in real time and gathering and analyzing data about how products are being used, putting them to work in product development and improvements, will be essential to outperforming global competition.

Assistance with adopting DITA and CMS

DITA is the abbreviation for Darwin Information Typing Architecture.
Formulated by the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS), this is an architecture used for preparing, managing, and using data that conforms to XML. It is characterized by its comprehensive management of components by splitting documents into units of four or five sentences, enabling reuse of data in differing contexts and allowing for output in different kinds of formats such as PDF or HTML.

DITA has already been widely adopted in Europe and the U.S. Manufacturers all use DITA to efficiently produce and manage massive documents that are updated highly frequently.

Human Science participates in DITA Consortium Japan as a DITA promoter, engaging in efforts to popularize DITA and providing specialized services corresponding to DITA.

We also offer production proposals in line with customer requests from when DITA is adopted until it goes into operation.

Among Japanese companies as well, an increasing number have been adopting machine translation (MT) for the purposes of cutting translation costs, reducing translation times, and exchanging information in real time.
It is not just a dream, either, that translation costs can be cut by 30% and the time by 50% while maintaining translation quality at a human level by using machine translation.

Human Science does not have its own machine translation system and we can propose the optimum machine translation system and process that conforms to requirements and objectives from a neutral position.
