CEATEC JAPAN 2015 held CEATEC AWARD 2015 under this year's theme of "NEXT — Today’s Dreams, Future Realities” with the aim of contributing to the creation of markets and advancement of the IT and electronics industries. This press release announces the Grand Prix and Semi Grand Prix winners in each category decided through the rigorous scrutiny of the CEATEC AWARD panel of judges. The panel also decided on the Special Judges’ Award for a product strongly recommended.

- Product description
This is a palm-sized network camera sensor with 13 sensing functions to detect facial expressions, gender, age and line of vision and more. Sensing data is sent to a smartphone by radio, and can be easily manipulated with an application on a smartphone. The system provides push notification with appropriate timing so that users do not miss information from the sensing functions, which enables users to keep a check on sleeping babies, children when they come home, family living away, or pets left in the home. Kazoku Mesen supports safe and secure lifestyles.
