Gesture control isn’t new, devices that alert us when we get a text or an email isn’t new, contact-less key devices that open a PC or smartphone— not new, e-wallet devices certainly not new—
What is new— is Alps/16 Labs OZON— it combines all of the above functions in a single device that is the size of ring. It also includes wireless charging which will power the ring for 2-days. It’s for all of these reasons that the judges chose OZON for the Home Entertainment Innovation Award.
