Global ICT solutions provider Huawei Technologies Japan brought together its latest smart phones, tablets and wearable devices for the exhibition.
Smartphones, tablets and wearables on show
Due for release in December of this year, Huawei featured its “Ascend Mate7″ large-size 6-inch smartphone featuring an 8-core processor and sustained power with a 20% reduction in consumption compared to older technologies. At only 7.9 mm thick, and weighing just 185 g, this compact device is made of 95% or more metal parts including composite aluminum frame and body, and has the staying power to provide 2 or more days of continuous use. As well as a high-precision sensor for 360° free-orientation fingerprint recognition, the device also boasts high-performance 13 megapixel out and 5 megapixel in cameras.
The company’s 7.18 mm thick 7-inch “Media PadX1 7.0″ tablet adopts the WUXGA display with greater than the full HD resolution. As well as enabling calling, this device also features high-performance cameras similar to “Ascend Mate7.”
The wristband-type wearable device
In the wearables line, Huawei’s exhibited the Talk Band B1. This is a wristband-type wearable device with a one-touch detachable 1.4-inch Bluetooth OLED display that can be used as a headset, and is a dust- and water-proof device that can be worn in the shower or used for greater enjoyment of sports.
In addition to watch, pedometer and calorie consumption functions etc, training can also be managed with a dedicated app or alarm set to match the user’s sleep rhythms. The wristband will also vibrate to notify the user if the user is more than 10 m away from his or her device, a function designed to prevent from losing the device.
