Show Dates / Recommended Environment

What are the show dates?
CEATEC 2020 ONLINE will be held from Tuesday, October 20 to Sunday, October 23, 2020 (JST). During the live show, visitors will have the opportunity to chat with exhibitors and view seminars.
After the conclusion of the exhibition, the content will be archived and available to the public on demand from Wednesday, October 28 through Thursday, December 31 (JST).
What are the hours?
The online exhibition will be open from 10:00AM to 5:00PM.
After October 20 (JST), visitors can enter the exhibition at any time of the day, however, exhibitors may not be able to answer to visitor inquiries and chats in after hours.
Tell us on recommended viewing environment.
Visitors can view the exhibition from a viewer installed on a PC, smartphone and tablet. Below are recommended browsers/versions for PC viewers. Windows users:
1) The latest version of Chrome
2) The latest version of Firefox
3) The latest version of Microsoft Edge
Macintosh users:
1) The latest version of Safari
2) The latest version of Firefox
3) the latest version of Chrome

Note: There may be some display issues and disabled functions depending on the combination of browser and operating system, even the usage device is in the above environment.

Conferences / Exhibitors’ Presentations

Do I need to register or login to certain site to view conferences?
Yes, you will need to register and login for admission to the show.
Do I need to reserve for viewing conferences?
No, reservation for viewing is not necessary for online exhibition.

First register for admission and login to CEATEC 2020 ONLINE. You will arrive at the exhibition entrance. Follow the steps below to access and view conferences.
Entrance >> Conference Area >> Click on the desired program for viewing >> Screen for viewing*
*The screen for viewing can be accessed from the start time of streaming.
Are there any conferences offered in English?
Certain programs will be delivered in English. Select English for language selection on the top right for viewing in English.

First register for admission and login to CEATEC 2020 ONLINE. You will arrive at the exhibition entrance. Follow the steps below to access and view exhibitor presentations.

Can I watch conferences and exhibitor presentations after the time of streaming?
Certain programs will be available to the public on demand from Wednesday, October 28 through Thursday, December 31 (JST). The available dates may vary depending on the content.
I like to view the exhibition from overseas. Can I watch it in the same environment as in Japan?
Because CEATEC 2020 ONLINE displays videos that have been uploaded to external video sharing services, they may not be viewable in some countries, depending on the video sharing service.

Functions

Is there a search function for exhibitors?
We have implemented the following two search functions in order to search for your desired Corporate Booth and/or Exhibit Channel.
1) Keyword search: Keywords contained in the exhibitor's name and exhibition description will be searched.
2) Search by exhibit category
Is there a function to view exhibits randomly?
Click on CEATEC GO sign located at the top of the page to view the exhibitor’s content randomly.
What is the “Like” function?
Click on the “Like “ function located at the page top (Exhibitor page and product pages) for items that you are interested. A list of exhibitors/products with your “Likes” will be created and you can review the list inside CEATEC 2020 ONLINE page.
Can I confirm which exhibitor booth I have visited?
You can confirm that in the CEATEC 2020 ONLINE page for yourself.
Where can I find new chat messages?
Notification will be displayed in the CEATEC 2020 ONLINE page.

Admission

What are the exhibition hours?
CEATEC 2020 ONLINE will be open daily from 10:00AM to 5:00PM, from Tuesday, October 20 to Friday, October 23, 2020 (JST).
Visitors will be able to enter the venue 24 hours.
Can I re-enter?
Yes, visitors can enter at any time, as many times as you like until Thursday, December 31, 2020 (JST).

Pre-registration for Admission

How do I pre-register for admission?
All participants are required to register each year for admission to the CEATEC exhibition.
Please register at the pre-registration for admission page in the official CEATEC 2020 website. The pre-registration system was changed in 2017 for added convenience so participants who registered prior to that date must renew their registration as previously used e-mail address and passwords are no longer applicable.

I previously registered for admission in 2016, is it necessary to register again this year?
Can the same e-mail address and password registered before 2016 still be used?

Your e-mail address and password used to sign up after 2017 are still applicable.

The email for my membership registration and/or admission pass has yet to arrive.
The following details may be the reasons why you have not received the email for membership registration and/or admission pass.
  • Certain types of email may go straight to the SPAM folder due to the settings provided by your provider.
  • The email address provided may have been incorrect.
  • Your Inbox is full.
  • The domain specific reception setting may be set on your smartphone, PC, etc. to prevent spam email. Reset your devices to receive email from the @reg.jesa.or.jp domain.
I registered previously but have forgotten my password for the pre-registration for admission page.
Please reset your password at the pre-registration for admission page. The pre-registration system was changed in 2017 for added convenience so participants who registered prior to that date must renew their registration as previously used （e-mail addresses） and passwords are no longer applicable. Your e-mail address and password used to sign up after 2017 are still applicable. If you have forgotten your password, please reset your password from here (if you have forgotten your password).
Is it possible to register more than one person under the same name and/or e-mail address?
All participants are required to register in advance, and multiple entries with the same name and/or e-mail address cannot be registered.
Please register participants separately with different names and e-mail addresses.
I wish to change the information I registered.
Login to the pre-registration for admission page and select Profile Settings from the settings tab in MyPage. You will then be able to change your registered information on this page.
I cannot pre-register for admission from my PC.
The reason could be that you are not using the recommended browsing environment. Please try one of the following web browsers for optimum results:
  • The latest version of Google Chrome.
  • The latest version of Firefox.
  • The latest version of Microsoft Edge.
Also, confirm that the JavaScript setting on your browser is valid. Then check and validate the settings accordingly and try to access the site once again.
We like to request a group tour.
We will not be accepting group registrations this year.
Please register for each visitor one at a time.

Miscellaneous

Are reference materials available about the CEATEC exhibition?
The CEATEC 2020 Exhibition Guide and Exhibition Report from last year can be downloaded from the brochures page in the official website. If you wish to receive a printed version of the download, please fill in the Brochures Request Form and submit it to the CEATEC Management Office. Please note, however, that both the printed and online versions are identical.
