Innovative prototype full digital headphones system with USB connector

This is the “01DRIVE” – the world’s first full digital speaker system that has attracted much attention since its announcement at CEATEC JAPAN 2012. This is a sensational audio system that uses a D/A converter for what should be the speaker’s voice coil (using Trigence Semiconductor’s Dnote technology for digital signal processing).

Clarion is focusing its presentations on uses other than car stereos, the company also announced a Bluetooth-enabled, ceiling-mounted speaker system with waterproofing used in bathrooms for LIXIL back in Julay.

As well as the formidable full digital speakers, this year’s Clarion exhibition at CEATEC JAPAN also featured prototype low energy consumption, full digital headphones available for visitors to try out. Just seeing a USB connector at the end of the cable, where a stereo pin plug would normally be, is in itself an innovation. Visitors coming to CEATEC JAPAN have to experience the latest developments in Clarion’s full digital speakers in their exhibition booth.
