Theme and Focus
The theme of CEATEC JAPAN 2014 is "Next -Technology Makes the Future". By bringing together the latest technologies and innovations in a wide range of IT/electronics fields, from upstream to downstream, CEATEC provides an overview of the current status and potential of IT/electronics, indicating future directions and trends. Moreover, by creating links to other fields - such as medical/healthcare, automotive and energy - and transcending conventional boundaries, CEATEC generates new business opportunities. By thus demonstrating future promise and potential, as well as creating opportunities for new business to flourish, CEATEC JAPAN 2014 will serve as a powerful driving force to promote what comes "Next".
At CEATEC JAPAN 2014, all facets of what is "Next" will be on display at the Lifestyle & Society Stage and the Key Technologies Stage. Furthermore, a Special Program Exhibition will highlight technologies and trends in fields where rapid growth is anticipated - Robotics, Wearable tech, Mobility, Software and Applications.
Advantages
As the only comprehensive exhibition of its kind, CEATEC offers a unique venue for representatives of diverse industries to come together, crossing conventional boundaries in a way that it difficult to achieve with private trade shows and specialized exhibitions. In order to facilitate this process, special attention is paid to the long-term potential of advanced component technologies and the creation of an environment conducive to fostering business opportunities. We have also developed stronger ties with the relevant government ministries and agencies. Additionally, emphasis is placed on disseminating information to the media, including special articles for the Web, TV, newspapers and journals. CEATEC thus provides the ideal platform for exhibitors to launch PR initiatives for their products that will reach large audiences in Japan and overseas. We welcome a broad range of exhibits from such diverse fields as IT and electronics, home appliances, cars, energy, medical/healthcare, and housing.
Exhibitor applications are being accepted until April 30, 2014 for primary applications, and until May 30, 2014 for secondary applications. Further details and documents are available via the official website at:
