In January 2010, UCC introduces UneoTM ultra-thin sensor technology to the world through a technology transfer agreement with Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Taiwan. The brand names "UneoTM" derives from the amalgamation of the Greek root "neo" and "universal" or "ubiquitous." Through the establishment of the Microelectronics Division to focus on mass production and rapid prototyping of UneoTM sensor, UCC aims to offer not only high-quality sensor manufacturing service, but also product module design and consultation support to shorten your product design cycles.

Pressure stylus
Uneo ultra thin miniature pressure sensor has now been successfully integrated into various stylus solutions including but not limited to capacitive, optical and electromagnetic technologies. By utilizing Uneo pressure sensor, these various stylus solution have full pressure sensing function with gram-level activation force and minimal travel at the tip of the stylus. The low power consumption of Uneo pressure sensor is the ideal technology to be paired up with any pressure passive or active stylus solutions.
