in this time,komori and itri completed to develop "printed metal mesh type"touch panel using "gravure offset printing technology".
komori announced to acquire 100% shares of tokai holdings which brand name is "seria" in pe industry,and tokai became a subsidiary of komori on may 12th,2014.since then,komori is unifying tokai's screen printing business and komori's gravure offset printing business to extend pe business.komori will use the sales channel of tokai holdings effectively to start to sell the gravure offset printing system "pepio" series which were introduced in august 2012 officially.

komori corporation introduces"next generation printing system(printed metal mesh type)for touch panel"co-developed with itri at ceatec japan 2014.
komori and itri completed to develop "printed metal mesh type" Touch panel using "gravure offset printing technology".this touch panel sample is produced by combination of very fine line width of l/s=30/30um for narrow bezel and ito substituted metal mesh of line width 3um in one step of gravure offset printing.this printing system requires less process, less equipment and less quantity of materials than photo-lithography technology currently used.in addition, metal wiring mess-production technology called "komori long-run support system" will prevent "ink drying on the plate", "foreign matters" and "swelling blanket", and it can realize high yield rate.
at the ceatec japan 2014,komori will exhibit working tablet type touch panel produced by above technology and introduce mass-production technology.
