TransferJet is a unique wireless technology which allows two electronic devices to quickly exchange data at a rate of 560 Mbps (and extending up to 10 Gbps in the future). Any content can be sent within seconds by merely touching two devices together, without the need to connect cables, swap memory cards, log into wired/wireless networks or perform any other setup. Streaming video or music is possible by placing a device (such as a camcorder or audio player) on a TransferJet cradle connected to a TV or stereo set. Commercial products incorporating TransferJet technology include laptop PCs, USB and micro USB dongles, micro SDIO cards, digital still cameras and other categories of devices. At the CEATEC booth, the consortium will show demos of various smartphones, tablets and cameras interacting with kiosks and signages using the latest TransferJet technology. Seminars will also take place daily at the booth.
