Household power storage system, Power supply system

Household Energy Storage System

Nichicon will introduce a large capacity, long life household energy storage system capable of activating itself in the event of a power blackout in order to meet general household demand. This system offers a more effective swichover for home energy supply and, by combining local production for local consumption with solar power generation, can contribute to a reduction in CO2 emissions. It can also help to average out power demand, through peak cut or peak shift functions, provide power assurance during blackouts, reduce electricity fees and maximize the sales of solar generated power.

V2H System

A V2H system makes it possible to draw power from an EV's large capacity batteries to power a home. This makes it possible to use the power stored in an EV's batteries as emergency backup for the home, using that power through standard household outlets. In addition, it can contribute to energy savings by letting you use energy stored at night in an EV as daytime power in the home when demand and costs are higher.

The EJ SERIES of DC Dry Film Capacitors
By developing an even thinner vapor-deposited film and improving the component storage efficiency, NICHICON has achieved a 40% reduction in size compared to its earlier EU Series product. In addition, the use of resin-molded case-less construction makes this capacitor capable of performing in both low-temperature (-40degrees Celsius) and high-temperature/high-humidity (85degrees Celsius, 85% RH, 1000h) environments. Safety is also enhanced with the adoption of a safety mechanism in the vapor-deposited film, which also increases the lifespan of the product. Finally, this product is composed of environmentally friendly materials.

Low-Temperature ESR.Chip-Type Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor
The CZ Series is notable for low-temperature ESR for operability in the particularly harsh temperature environment presented by onboard use. This addition to our size lineup provides a high-volume option of up to a maximum of four times the capacitance value of our existing UE Series of 125degrees Celsius-rated chip capacitors employing high capacitance electrolytic foil.
