Notice: Change of CEATEC 2020 Exhibition Preparation Schedule
Due to the Impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

To CEATEC Exhibitors
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for applying at an early stage for exhibition at CEATEC 2020 (held from October 20 (Tue) to 23 (Fri) at Makuhari Messe).
As stated in the title of this notice, the coronavirus (COVID-19) is having a major impact in Japan since the end of February, and the situation ahead is unclear as of now. Because the pandemic has affected many companies and organizations, we believe that you may be taking a variety of measures based on the impact in each region, in accordance with government policy.
We at the Management Office are currently taking measures to carefully gather information on COVID-19, however because it is difficult to predict the containment period of the disease, we are currently scheduled to convene CEATEC 2020 as initially planned, from October 20 (Tue) to 23 (Fri). As we go ahead and prepare to meet the schedule, we are also gathering the latest information in parallel for the safety of everyone involved.
In view of the fact that the coronavirus (COVID-19) has significantly impacted our exhibitors’ business activities, we would like to notify you that certain deadlines and scheduling of the event, including the Acceptance Period of Exhibit Applications, will be changed as indicated below.
The Management Office will continue to evaluate the situation carefully and follow the policies and guidelines stipulated by the Japanese government, and will make announcements including safety measures as needed.
